Experienced Educator
My work will end when all students know they have the power within themselves to achieve great things.
Guided and supported by administrators, teachers are catalysts to help our students
engage in the world around them and with the world beyond them.
Leadership Experience
I started my leadership journey as a Social Emotional Learning Lead Teacher and then became a new-teacher mentor. After that, I was given a Department Chair position and even served as a Director of eLearning during COVID.
After several years as an Instructional Coach, I earned my Building Level Administrator license and currently serve as an MTSS and Corporation Test Coordinator.
Teaching Experience
My education career began as a high school choir and music history teacher, who also taught junior high general music classes.
Eventually, I transitioned to teach foundational music skills as a K-8 elementary general music teacher, choir director, and musical theatre instructor. Additionally, I lead social-emotional learning classes one day each week, using my training in educational neuroscience.
I have also helped students find success through Reading and Math remediation groups, using Orton-Gillingham and conceptual math approaches.
